As the title says, these guys are from Miniart's Hussites box. I don't like them that much, but had these few around here... So, over the last few days I painted them. Slowly, my Silves 1189 project gets its figures.

La Lys
Yesterday, a few Portuguese remembered the Battle of the Lys (1918). Shortly, the biggest portuguese defeat since Alcácer Quibir, in 1578.
I had a grand-grandfather there. He was lucky, he returned alive and in one piece, but my parents tell me that the war changed him (for worse). Adding to that, the soldiers were not very well welcomed back by the Portuguese authorities...
I hope the only wars I have to face are these with my toy soldiers!

A figure a day keeps the shrink away!
No, I'm not posting / painting a figure each day... but this one was painted in one day.
Strelets 1/72 - a Streltsy (Russian version of musketeers, I understood), 17th century.
I like these figures (it's the second I painted), they look very good, unlike many Strelets figures!
Not the best pictures though...
