O Ferreiro / The Blacksmith

Foundry figure

Built for a Group Build on Modelismo na Net forum, it was finished almost 2 weeks after the deadline... Too many ideas...
The result is not what I imagined in the beginning. The smithy is too small and without light. There is no available room for tools, weapons and any other stuff the blacksmith does. The bellows may not be the state-of-the-art but deserved to be more visible than it is.
The only way I found to see the interior (keeping the roof, which I like) was to take that side wall away.
As extras, one can see mrs. Smith and the dining area. The barbecue is of... wood. A portuguese thing, nevermind!

  1. Nice little dio! perhaps, could you add a horse and a man with him? or/and a chid or young man which is helping the smithy?
(conversion for this one? if yes,it's good!)

  2. I didn't mention, but these are 30mm metal figures. I have only a handfull and didn't think using them all in this diorama. But I could get a horse and his knight, a child... but not a young man (an apprentice).
Well, now you put me to think... I might do something bigger, using those figures... but not now.

  4. Lucas, bem-vindo e obrigado.

  5. Correction on the size - it's a 28mm figure and not 30mm as I said earlier. But I guess those mm are bigger than mine...
