House and mosque in medieval Algarve / casa e mesquita no Algarve medieval

Or should I say al gharb?
The house is inspired by the traditional houses in the north of Africa, but painted as the ones in southern Portugal. The mosque is small, inspired in some photos on the web, I supposed it was meant to serve the travellers, as many small churches that we still see.

Too much sand... I have to try doing the walls more smooth.

Motivação para fazer estas construções / Motivation given by Paul, from Paul's Bods.

  1. I don't think that rough look is bad for this kind of houses. Just the blue is to clean in my eyes. Looks like they are just painted in comparison with the walls.
Looking forward to the next ones!

    1. Hi.
      Thanks for the comment.
You are completly right, the blue is just painted. I should have done something more about those parts.

      Cheers
